Hey im a little worried about my snake.I worry too much lol i was just wondering if my snake has mites or ticks. What do they look like? How can i know they are present. She always seems to dig in her substrate and she rubs against me alot. Please help.

Mites are tiny black or dark brown dots - like dust specks. You're most likely to see them on the snake around the eyes, or they can come off into the water bowl.

Ticks are larger and they're much easier to spot - it should be obvious whether your snake has these. They'll look like grey tear-shaped blisters sticking out from between the scales.

I've put this on here a few times.

If you look to the left side of his head inline with his eye you will see one mite on the bottom of the tank (Small black dot). Theres another inline with the end of his tail to the right on the base of the tank.

Hope that helps.
