I am just totally gobsmacked! I just fed Azrael his first fuzzy, and man, was it amazing! I'm still buzzing from watching the whole thing! Was a bit worried about the size as it seemed so much bigger than a pinkie, but by the looks of things, needn't have worried at all. I've never seen him like it.....Even the smell seemed to get him really excited, and he was straight in there, wrestling it, constricting it (which I've never seen him do with a pink) and taking it down like a good'un. Took him a bit longer than usual to get it down, and I was a bit worried when he started taking it arse end first but he got there in the end and is now safely back in his viv, fed and lumped and curled up in his hide. I know you guys have probably seen it all before, but this is my first snake, and I just felt the need to share it with people who would maybe understand! It was incredible!
Obviously I will keep an eye on him (without disturbing him too much) to make sure there's no regurge, but boy do I feel like such a proud father!!!!!
All this AND I pick up my new little Aztec tomorrow How much excitement can a man take in one weekend?!!!!

What would you guys recommend as the optimum time before his next feed considering it is his first fuzzy. I have been feeding 2 pinkies every 5/6 days until now. I know fuzzies are harder to digest, and was gonna give it 7 days. Does that sound OK?

feeding schedule

I would just feed it on a weekly schedule.
Since you fed it today, just feed it every Friday.
Simple to remember and not hard on the snake.

Is that an amelistic corn? If so..that's exactly what mine looks like :)

I was told two different things by the person that gave him to me...I am pretty sure that it is an amelistic (sp?) , but I can never fully tell with juveniles
