Casper has shed his first shed. Finally able to measure him, he is 16 inches long. I haven't gotten a scale yet, but he has been eating a pinky every 6 days or so.

Congrats!
the first shed is always the most exciting, although ill admit I'm just as excited for my 2nd one as I'm sure you will be too! ;)

Just and FYI though the snakes skin can go through quite the stretching process so your snake is probably just a bit under 16 inches, but none the less still very cool! :)

I think at the hatchling size you need to subtract around 3.5 inches off to get close to what their length is. If you can get a picture of him stretched out there's an app that you can find on the computer that will let you measure your snakes length. I've all but given up on getting accurate length measurements on Rapunzel now. I spend hours trying to move a ruler alongside her as she crawls on the computer desk and eventually I get a close enough guess.
