Yay....

Holy cow! What is in the water that she's drinking??? The mama is stunning, and I'd love to see the papa...:)

I have a question: toward the tail-end, does she still have an egg left inside her that she's working out? Or, is that just muscles or...? I have soooooo much to learn! :)

One more question: of the 23 that she laid last year, how many hatchlings hatched and thrived?

Still, 26 eggs...I just can't imagine...I'm thinking that one for me would be bad enough. :p

I'm pretty sure that is another egg, I think that was taken when she was still laying.

Ay yi yi...and she seems so calm, if that's during egg-laying. I'd be screaming my head off...then again, I guess that's why I'm not a snake in this lifetime.

23 for 23. all hatched and ate right after they shed. only 3 ended up being difficult feeders. 2 of the 3 didnt make it and one is still a thorn in my side. but i love her and just let her eat when she wants to.
and yes she still had one more egg left but i had to goto work so i took the pic. She is a very calm snake in general. even when i bought her 10 years ago this summer she was just laid back and relaxed.

thanks for looking everyone

im thinking about double clutching her this year but dont really know how to go about it and if its a good idea with her age.
