I totally understand how you feel. I also have a new baby I bought yesterday (5 week old normal corn snake) and she is gorgeous. I feel like a new Mommy again (even though my skin-kids are grown).

Congrats to us both -- Yay!

It's such a good feeling. I had problems with Santi for a while, but I was so surprised at the feeding response I got today. He normally noses it for a bit, then slowly takes it in... Last week he grabbed it before it hit the bottom of the container, and this week, he snatched it right out of my hand! In a little over two months, that's the closest thing to a strike I've seen him do. I see this is a couple days late, but I hope your baby's shed went well!

no, that is really good news.
Ever since i got my snake, all it's been is trouble (though i love her anyway). She has blister disease, kinks in her back, hasn't shed yet, and now she won't eat. Now she's listless and skinny. It's driving me nuts.

wow, I really feel sorry for you:cry:

I got my corn to eat for the first time today, it was a really nice feeling to get it out the way! I was worrying about it a bit as I've read quite a few experiences with people having trouble getting them to take their food.

It was so cool to watch too, amazing how they fit something like that in their mouths.

I can't imagine having a problem with my baby corn eating -- he's a piglet in a snake's skin, lol!

He also had his first shed yesterda -- all in one long piece, including the eyes! Another YAY!

ooops...that was supposed to be a picture of Dagon eating a pinky, but I don't think it worked. Darn, I can't edit...
