Howdy, I'm new here.. Just joined up while doing my research for my first snake that I have yet to purchase. It will definitely be a corn though as they seem like they're what's recommended for beginners.
I'm originally from central Florida, but have lived in Ontario and Michigan. I currently live in western NY.
I have 3 dogs, 5 cats, 2 foster cats, 2 rabbits, 45 tarantulas, 2 scorpions and one grouchy arse centipede..
The last time I did research on snakes forever ago frozen/thaw was still fairly new. But, now that it's the most recommended way, I'm ready to keep snakes. (I can't help it, I love rats, but don't mind feeding already dead ones)
Now that I've seen all the different colors and read a bit on the genetics, I'll probably hold out till I can afford a snake I'll want to breed later.
So, expect to see me lurking around quite a bit... lol.. oh yeah, and shopping the classifieds..
Laters..
Jen

Hi Jen :wavey: welcome to the forum. I am glad you joined and look forward to seeing you "lurking" around

nice too see you researching before you buy. That's what I did too - and I ended up getting a normal for free (locally).

welcome!
