Here is Zanj during a recent emergence from his hide. I consider this a bit of a breakthrough because he used to stay there all the time unless I had him out to eat or play (during which he never seemed stressed or anything, happily). Just this week, he's become relaxed enough to explore his viv nightly.

That's so cute! I love when I catch one of my snakes out exploring in the evening. Usually they eyeball me and freeze until I leave.
