Wife don't do pets - so we brought a corn snake
We ( Me, 2 kids aged 6 & 7) are now proud owners of a 9 month - year old male classic. He's been named Zing Zing after a furry type kids TV character (you work it out !!). Seems to have a great temperament likes being handled. Have surfed the net for research and have support of our local aquatic / reptile shop and now this forum. Have a snake vivarium with UTH, awaiting child lock but kids know the rules. Still to properly work out temperatures, thermometer with kit not good and off to buy a probe (Zing has rested on both sides of Viv so assume OK). Got the first feed to look forward to. I'm told he's on fuzzies but I've only got pinkies from shop (will try him on 2 this week - any tips, I'll read the site closer to the day). Also got the first shed ditto above.
From my use of other forums I'm not a great poster more of a lurker so thanks to those that do participate.
