Zoey Finally Made It !
What a relief. We thought we had some sick corn on Sat. one Egg, Sun.one more, Mon. early one more. We left her alone all Monday and she had a pile in her coils when we came home. We wanted our youngest member here to put them in the incubator so he can have a share in this celebration.
We see some are misshapen and a yellowish colour, about a third of them.
1/ Should we candle them to see if there is life in there? After how long?
2/ What do we do to get info for Canadian Registration? Problem, we don't have any info on family line, or where they came from. Zoey & Joey are not we believe from the same matting if at all related.
3/ By size we judge she to be about 6 mo. to a year older than her mate. Will that make a difference in the fertility of the eggs? He was very active and mated several different times and days.
4/ There is a probability of a double clutch. Will she shed again before or after she gets hungry?
