Here's J.D., my first corn ever. He's an '04, but definitely breeding size. Although I "outgrew" my newbie-gotta-love-the-amels phase pretty quickly, and although he's an archetypical "vomitmel", he's still an absolute sweetheart, and practically as social as a dog.

That's some pretty intense orange on that boy. Named for Salinger? My Dekay's is named J.D., and I have a hypo-blood named Holden.

my first was an amel too.

nice looking snake, jazz

:-offtopic I take it you're a Steelie Dan fan?

I think he's very beautiful. (my first snake wasn't an amel, though I still find them attractive :D)

Oooh, if I only had that foresight. It's short for "Juris Doctor" - I thought it would be a hoot to name a snake after a lawyer's degree. Now it's a lame joke.

Holden is a GREAT name!

Indubitably. Not only is the dog and the charcoal named after SD lyrics, but the female Bearded Dragon is "Rose Darling".

I've met both Fagen and Becker backstage in Chicago (OK, Rosemont) during their "Two Against Nature" tour in 2000. I got the passes because I threw the pre- and post-concert parties in Milwaukee the night before, where they performed just downwind of Milwaukee's annual Polish Festival.

Here's a clip of me, post-concert, explaining why I raffled off a polka DVD as well as SD DVDs, pre-concert. Do not mock the mini-mullet; it's gone now.

LOL...yep, I would venture to say that most corn owners first one was an amel, I know mine was. But regretfully it got loose on me and was never found. But, my second was an anery whom I still have. Gotta love the "ones who started it all", they just have that special place in you.

That is a nice colored amel though, pretty to look at I am sure. :)

Never had the opportunity to see them anywhere except on the tube. Back in the early 80's there was a local band called "Fayreweather". They used to play the Cleveland Agora every Sunday night, and they were awesome! They played alot of Steelie Dan. They also did Old Genesis from the Peter Gabriel days, Jethro Tull and The Sensational Alex Harvey Band. Wow! Just had a flashback!

I never would have noticed the mullet if you didn't say anything. I could show you a mullet, but I'd have to do a search for an old picture that won't be found on a disc, but rather in an old PF Flyer shoe box; remember those picture files?

I should start a thread for all us older farts called, "Show us your mullet." We'd probably get more responses then we could imagine.
