Clyde - '06 Kathy Love Okeetee

Eremita

and cats...
All right, I still haven't gotten access to a decent camera, and I feel like this post is overdue as I have had this fella for 2 months now, so I'll have to make do. I feel like I owe Tonya, at least, for her helpful info over P.M.

This is the snake I referenced in my first post and first thread, here. He started his life out as hatchling #9, but now he goes by "Clyde". This is his mom and this is his da. He stood out to me for the regularity of his pattern and his reserved yet attentive expression. He is eating really well, and he's gotten pretty calm as far as handling goes.

So without further ado: the pics.

as i stated in your first post...........the oak is my favorite and you can definitley not go wrong with a Love-line oak. clyde is a looker  if those reds are what he truly looks like then........dayum. awesome pick-up and thanks for posting. :)

p.s............i think that snake has some mojo in it or something. it changed the hands from a nice womanly hand to a hair man-hand. very scary :sidestep:

He looks great! Are his belly checkers really a dark red like they look? I try to forget that I am within driving distance of Kathy Love... :)

Thanks, folks. His ventral checkers are a normal black, but his red side spots kind of match up with the checker pattern to make it look wider. And I'm sure glad I decided to go for it and get him - he's settling in fine. His most recent feeding was the first where he didn't fuss about the move to the feeding container. He latched onto his pinky before I had even let go of him. :)

I love his name and look forward to photo updates of his maturation. I'm impressed by the progression threads of okeetees.

Hey... some of those are mine and some are the wife's. She watches all feedings and handles him, and I take care of everything else. Speaking of which, whatever happened to gwb's/Denise? Her posts were entertaining.

just kidding..........she is not doing very well right now. major morning/afternoon/evening sickness going on with the pregnancy, and we are only at 9 weeks. which, that results in "hating my snakes" because of the smell and sometimes "hating me" for having them. she will hopefully come around towards the middle of next year when she gets rid of her "little" problem. :grin01:
p.s.......everyone, i am taknig very good care of her and please don't take action on the above comments :sidestep:
