The Rule Of Thirds.
.....once a butt-muncher, always a butt-muncher, I guess.

This is Louise, my '06 Opal that I got from Zach at Serpent Pets. The last time I posted pics of her, she was still on pinks. She's now on 2 fuzzies per feeding, and (as you can see) will gladly scarf down anything that another snake will turn pass by.

And of course, the last time I posted pics of her, she was chewing the hindquarters first as well.

None the less.....

She's a charmer like you've never seen.....

She loved the pinkies and fuzzies that I bought her.....

(Sorry about the blurry face in this last shot....these were all done with the el cheapo that was close by.)

Thanks for looking!

Shes lovely Dale. But I'd love to see her colours in natural daylight. The flash has washed it all out, and as you know opals have beautiful subtle colours!

Looks like shes growing well for you too, whos her future man?

Very pretty Opal, there, Dale, and a good feeder to boot - good combo. I suppose when the prey has no fur, they might actually be a bit more streamlined going down butt-first. Anyway, it all goes to the same place, as they say...

Her future man has already bumped uglies with two (count 'em, two!) young ladies this season.

She'll first be paired up with Earl, my "prize" Opal boy.

He's already been paired up with Mrs. Parker, one of my lavenders, and Glutton, an amel. If he proves himself out as a breeder, I've got Lavs het Amel and Amels het Lav on the way.

Oh thats awesome Dale! I didn't know you were breeding anything this year... Best of luck with those two lovely clutches!

But wait! THERE'S MORE!! (How do I make these snakes available so cheaply? VOLUME, VOLUME, VOLUME!!)

I've got two more clutches planned as well.....

Odysseus x J.D. ( Whiteout hets! ) (and yes, JD is NOT a boiiiii but a grrrrl)

- and -

Sangre x Ansel ( Granite hets! )

The only problem is that I started so late, that I just might have something to sell after the Tinley Park show in October. ;)

Is it possible shes a snopal? From those pictures it looks like she has a very lavender wash to her. Unlike your beautiful opal boy shes rather peachless... Not that its a bad thing at all! Is it possible for you to get outdoor pictures of her?
