Great picture Kali. Did you make the rock background/stairs? If so, is it a styrofoam base covered in something? I've been wanting to do some fake rock backgrounds & raised basking shelves for a few of my snakes...

Yes I made the background. It used to be a viv for my beardies, hence the stairs :) I don't really know the english name for the stuff I used, it's a kind of insulation anyway. I didn't make pics when I made this one, but here you can see another where I used the same boards. The blue stuff...

It's covered with tile glue. Maybe that's the same in english? :) Not always perfect for beardies, they sometimes pull chips off with their nails. No nails on snakes, so no problems there :D

Thank you for the info. In english, tile glue would probably be tile grout... sounds great. I have some rattlesnakes that I'd love to make a fake rock wall tank for!
