corn snake names? please!

I'm sure this question has been on this site before but I have never owned a reptile before a corn will be my first and I reallly am having a hard time dogs and cats and stuff are easy to name but snakes are muuch harder (to me at least).
The names I like so far are:
1) Echo
2) Monty
And
3)Bindi
I would really love to hear other names as many as possible girl or boy I think I'm getting a boy but I don't know so all names are welcome.
Also on a side note (to help me decide if I want a boy or girl) is there any difference between male corn snakes and female? Like is one ever more agressive/protection or does one usually get bigger then the other?

Female snakes tend to be a bit bigger but with corns that doesn't really matter.
What morph are you gonna get?

I want to get what I beleve is called a "normal okeetee" I have a really hard time learning all the morphs so I don't really know the names that well :(

Well i would suggest not to name him until you have him for a few weeks. Maybe he'll have a distinct mark or behavior that you could use to name him. Example: Spotty if he has a distinct spot.

I totally agree. You might find that the perfect name pops into your head one day when you are playing with him/her. If you like that idea but want something to call your snake in the meantime, my family has used nicknames. Sienna was actually called Eggbert (I swear) by my husband (and eventually me) before I named her. Firefly was Lil Bit. Mango has always been Mango, though, because when I saw his coloration he reminded me of a mango, one of my favorite fruits.

I have lists & lists of names that I like, that I jot down from time to time. When it comes time to name snakes, I go through my lists & see which one seems to fit. There have been a few times where I will pick a name that I think might work, & it ends up not fitting the animal, so I change it.
Most of my names are Gods & Godesses. I also have various names that I have selected for their meanings.
 
Thanks I think I'm gunna do that and I like Ehco too, a lot. But it reminds me of a parrot so I don't know :p

I LOVE that parrot! I can't believe how smart he is.
It also reminds me of that Joss Weaton show Dollhouse.
But I do love that name....
 
I always suggest naming them names you like/ think are cool but would never name a human child lol i.e any video game, book, movie, character. I also have a list of names for critters that I think would be neat, just like Heather said, jot the names down when you think of them :)
 
I started out naming my corns after gemstones and minerals that had the same colors or patterns as the snake. Then I got a hypo from petsmart that had escaped their cages twice and had tried to bite anyone who stuck their hand in the cage. I got him out of the tank for them and said " Hi Spaz!"....and the name stuck :). Sometimes the name is all in the personality.
 
Safari is my jungle carpet python. Sunny...butter motley corn male, Janome...male ghost corn. Zee ...female normal corn with zig zag pattern. Spot..male vanishing pattern sinaloan milk. Ladybug...female which I hope to breed to Spot. She is red / black like a lady bug. :) Then there is Sunday..my first baby born on the first day of the week. Dusty...he's a trans-pecos rat snake. Very very docile snake. Zorro...a honduran milk with a black mask marking on his head. Diamond is my first snake ever an was named because he had a diamond pattern on his head (my avitar pic). Doesn't look like a diamond much anymore so was thinking of changing his name.
 
I'm kinda in the same predicament. I have this baby corn, and I've had her for about 3 weeks, and still I haven't settled on a name. I'll share my list of possibilities for you, maybe you can get some ideas. Maybe typing them out will help me, haha.

I know the snake hasn't been sexed yet, but I feel like having a female name. Although, a male snake by the name of Jezebel would be weird, so I'm really having a tough time boiling it down. We named the ball python Grim, and she wound up being female, but it still works. Mostly we call her "Grimmy". Same with our old beardie. Named the baby Frankie, and turned out to be a girl. Heh.
 
I bought an adult female a couple months ago for a boy in our neighborhood. The snake was already named "Halo", and the boy chose to keep it.

We have also seen or used the following: Checkers, Rock, Bump, and Shock.

I think "Halo" is a really cool, though.
 
I tend to go with themes so I have some with fruity/food names, flowers, cats, etc. Some based on markings, some based on personality. There is no wrong name for a pet! Even if he/she has to go nameless for a little while until something really comes to mind, that's fine too.
