Amel Corn Snakes

I'm watching pictures and videos of Amel Corn Snakes and I'm kind of confused with their colors. I've seen some Amel have a light yellow tone while still conserving the original red blotches but then I've also seen Amel corn snakes that are exactly like the original corn snake minus the black pigment.

Do the colors really vary that much with this morph or am I looking at different morphs?

The second image you posted is not an amel. It has dark eyes.

This is my almost-sunglow Dier. He is 'just' an amel, but is the result of linebreeding for extra vibrant colors and little to no white.

It's probably a low saturated pic and it appears like black or maybe it isn't an amel but I'm sure I've come across amels with more orange body color just like your almost-sunglow.

So, sunglows are basically a type of amel?

Amels can really vary! There are also amels that are bred for specific looks, like thick white borders, which are known as reverse okeetees, although they have the same genes as a regular amel.

My Amel has no white around his dots, so i was told it was a sunglow motley?

His mom was bright orange.

This is Jafar

Whoa, how funny... the 2nd pic in the OP is actually Loki. That's from his sale ad when I bought him, and he was identified as a sunglow on here!

The second is a Fire. I have one, she looks just like that. I think Fire and Sunglow might be the same thing, different names.

Well, I just googled out Amel Corn Snakes and took it from there but it wasn't from any sale ad. It could also be that they took the picture from the same place...
