Daytona - Pied Sided Bloodred het pewter

WOW for the snake and for making Dean envious! :sidestep:

Thank god I live in Europe and I can't get such a high end snake like that!
Well NOT REALLY!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the Pic VJ
now that I would "put in my pocket" :crazy02:

I spent alot of time talking to Ward in Daytona two weeks ago about his bloodreds, they were quite stunning. I guess testing has proven them to be non-compatable with the one's Don and Rob are working with. Not sure I understood everything we discussed but then again, it sounds like more testing and info needs to be gathered since the pied side is still so new.

Anyone reading this who has more insight than has been shared please feel free to contribute.

That said Vinny, how about an updated pic. If you've posted over the past 2 years I've missed it. Thanx! Hope you don't mind me inviting others to share.

I'll see what I can do to get you an updated pic. It might be next week since I'm busy getting things ready for the Anaheim show this weekend. He's still stunning as an adult. I have a female sibling with a patch of white on her head as well. Hopefully I can get them to hook up and produce more next year. I wonder what the F2s would look like if you crossed Ward's line with Don's line of pieds. Hmmmm.

are the two lines incompatable??

what are the differences if there are any?

does one of the lines produce superior pie-sided snakes or are the colours slightly different?

has anyone combined the two lines?

has anyone been able to create pie-sided snakes without bloodred in the mix?

thanks

Look at all those people who we don't see anymore...
Yeah, that's too bad . . . but then again, they know where we live and can choose to stop by anytime (some do, they just choose not to share). :shrugs:

That said . . . Vinny, let's see some pics!!! :D

Sounds like they're not from what Ward told Danny. I'll have to look into this a little more.

Sounds like we'll have to do a comparison thread. :)

Not that I've noticed so far... I don't think there's enough from Wards line to say. They're both gorgeous though.

has anyone combined the two lines?
I wouldn't be surprised if Don has. If a test was done to see if they were compatible and they weren't then I'm sure the hatchlings from that test will be crossed in the next couple years.

has anyone been able to create pie-sided snakes without bloodred in the mix?

thanks

Not that I know of.

Are they going to be at the show Vinny? ;)

I plan on bringing some fun stuff for show and tell. ;) They won't be on the table but for those that come by and ask I'll pull them out.

- Pied Sided Blood
- Eyeless Blood
- Dilute Hypo Anery Mot
- Hypo Lav Patternless Stripe
- Hypo Pewter
- Cinder (maybe)

I wish I had a display case. Maybe another year.
