It's threads like this that has made the concept behind the rep system a complete waste. Points for points sake and not even decent comments to earn them (well, the one about forming a line behind Jeff was pretty good). And the worst part is that it spilled over to the rest of the forum and became trollish behavior.
 
Be sad, Sarah, very very sad. I guess it did get a bit over the top but considering the stress that Wade has been under, it was pretty fun to see him enjoying himself. :)

Okay, I'm done. I swear. This thread did give me a good laugh, and I'm just sad that I didn't stay up late enough last night to see it when it happened!

Are you saying you need to be less-than-sober to get this type of humor? Hmmmmm. Maybe. I'm assuming you meant alcoholic beverages by the term "drink," because I don't see how a big glass of Dr. Pepper would make this extremely humorous.

Should I be sad? I'm in my 5th year here, and I haven't even hit 7000. :( Just proves that the eccentric cute yet inaccessible boys get more love! Still, I don't base my life on rep points. Sure they're nice, but I've always been the "anti-popular type" anyway.

And I would be careful... Susan dropped the triple post! Thats some authority right there lol!

Awwwwww.... I got a pity rep! Thanks Lori. Thats not what I was shooting for though.

I do kind of understand what Susan means though. I won't go on as much of a tangent about it as Susan did, but has anyone ever wondered why Rich only has 100 rep points, and Nanci has like 20,000? Back in the day, getting over 1000 was absolutely unheard of.
