    The moderators are unable to change the various abilities of the membership. The only way for you to get editing abilities is to become a Contributing member or have a mod edit for you. I've looked at that thread and once everything is together (you made one excellent compilation in one post and you can do another one later one with the additions) and I can create an entire new thread to sticky. Personally, some of the off topic content in that thread is not something I would like to sticky.
