    I think you'll be pleased to hear Emma is doing really well, she now has a lovely man in her life, who treats her like a princess, they are living together and expecting their first baby in 3 and a half weeks time! :D

    LOL. Thank you. Those red bulls are the result of over 10 years of selection. My record on working with a single goal in mind are the wide-stripe zagtecs, though. Long term projects are fun....but SLOW to develop. It wouldn't be bad if I actually had more patience in life, though. ;)

    I wish I knew! LOL. It's times like this when I wish I had an ultrasound machine... She doesn't even look pregnant, but she also hasn't been eating, or hasn't gained/lost any weight! Boids are so confusing... :(

    Hey Lauren...I'd PMd Tara today asking for the name and number of Violet's former vet. I'm thinking that in the poor dear's painkiller induced haze, she might not have seen it. I cancelled V's vet appt. today and rescheduled for tomorrow. Do you think you can get this info from her in one of her lucid moments? ;) I want my vet to have the info rather than just assuming she needs things that she might not. Thanks, Lauren!!

    Actually, we keep the mouse room closed off, but she does enjoy going into our bedroom. We have large window ledges that give her plenty of room to laze around and look outside. She doesn't bother the snakes in there at all. She feels free to wander all over the house which is excellent. She spent the first night hiding under the couch, but now she pretty much owns the place. :)

    Lauren, Violet is absolutely the perfect cat! I only have one large set of claw marks across my neck as she met my lab...other than that, she's an absolute sweetheart. Does she ever stop purring???

    It was awesome to meet you and Tara. Hope you had a safe and fun trip to MI. How was the wedding?

    I'll keep you updated with photos. We just love Violet to bits. She's made no attempt to get outside...we're most definitely going to make her an indoor cat. Thanks again for trusting her with us.
