  • Hi there!
In your kind welcome to us you had requested some pix up! Mission completed. Pictures of my son holding our original female amel motley and our new male butter corn.
    Have a good one!

Ha. That is hilarious. Yeah, the FedEx ladies know me pretty well. They don't even bat an eye anymore. The first few times they were pretty shocked that there was a live snake in the box, now they just smile and get me my package ~LOL~
Not sure how much time I will have to hang out since I have to set up table, but will definitely stop by. I will try to bring some kind of baked goods like donuts or muffins. :)
LOL! You ARE bad! :) I don't think I'll inquire about this one, though. I have plenty of red snakes (including 1.1 amel mots who will be delivered this weekend), so it would have to be something REALLY special, and I don't think anyone is going to give away a Lava or Cayenne Fire, for some reason :).

    Thanks for instigating, though! *grins*
Well, I've given in and made an offer on that CL cornsnake. We'll see what he says :). If he accepts it, I'm thinking I'll be getting a very good deal!
Yeah, I've been looking at that guy. He's amazing! I just can't afford him at the moment--we're doing a lot of driving and stuff for my mom, and every little bit adds up. Unless he goes down on the price or I suddenly have a windfall, someone else will likely take that beauty home with them. Too bad for me--I think he's stunning! C'est la vie, though :).
LOL! Ok! I'll tell ya, though--boys are easier to deal with than girls. At least when it comes to children and dogs :).

When your baby is big enough to breed, let me know, and we'll arrange for a little MBK "date". Think they'll want to smoke a cigarette, afterwards? *grins*
I could pass out fliers to buyers and also perhaps also just keep a stack of them on the table next to my business cards for people to pick up. I expect to have about 40-50 snakes for sale, but I don't expect a total sell-out. Probably a stack of 40 fliers would be good. Thanks!
I believe we are :). Unless my husband is on-call that weekend, or my mother takes a turn for the worse (she's at OHSU in the oncology unit right now), we plan to come. Dog help our checkbook! LOL!
Nice potluck breakfast plan! Also, I'm glad I didn't miss the expo. I got into an accident, was hospitalized for awhile, and was scared that I may have missed everything. Phew, the show is in August! That's what I suspected. I think 8 is doable for me. I'll think about the breakfast items and let you know.

Hi Kelsie! Your morning get-together at the hotel sounds good. I will just have to first go into the expo room and put my sign on my table at 8:00, so that I won't lose my table again. Then I should be able to finish setting up after breakfast. I make really good fruit salad and would like to bring one of those, if nobody else already has that covered.

I get Sculpey from my local art supply store. Check out arts and crafts stores in your area. There are some online craft wholesalers who sell it, but I can't recommend any from personal experience. If you Google "Wholesale Sculpey Polymer Clay" you can find places to order it online.
Thanks for the compliment! I use Sculpey to make hides. It doesn't need to be fired in a kiln, you can bake it in the oven and it doesn't dry out until you bake it. Much easier to work with than wet clay, and it's non-toxic.
    You have beautiful snakes!
BTW, I know a couple great ferret breeders, when you're ready to add ferrets to your home. ;) just saying...
Woah, seems like Libras always end up finding eachother. I have run into a surprisingly high number of people who's birthdays are within a few days - a week of mine (with different years generally)!
Hrrmm trying to remember what's in the Willsonville area, nothing too fancy. Burgerville. hehe.. I'm sure I'll be in Portland area before then, my parents live in Clackamas (about 20 min away), so I'll try to scope it out and come up with something!
Yay, I'm getting excited and wish the expo was a lot sooner!
Hi there! How have you been? It would be fun to have a get-together at expo time. I'm not too familiar with the restaurants in the area, but I'm not picky at all. Anything should be okay. I will be a vendor, and I know the show goes from 10-4. So probably a an early dinner would work well. It should be fun. Thanks for organizing!
