Yes. I miss the rolling hills and the milder summers and the snow. The humidity, especially in southern Louisiana, is horrible. It seams like summer is May 1 to sometime in October.
Originally from Louisiana. Dad was a chemical engineer and we moved around a lot. Lived in Kentucky late 60's, early 70's. Went to 1st grade thru 6th there. Lived in Barlow, in Ballard county, small farming community near Paducah. Dad worked at papermill in Wickliffe. Spent all my free time with my buddies in the tobacco fields, and the Ohio River bottom looking for critters of all kinds.
