  • Hey Rich, I am not sure if I can send you a pm as my box is full. My contributorship has apparently run out, but according to my paypal records I paid you automatically on May 20. Could you please look into this for me, I think I my member ship is paid up! Thanks alot, have a great weekend. Beth
    Nope. No way at all to tell. But thank you for the compliment of thinking my memory would be good enough to be able to recognize those snakes at this late date.
    Hi Rich :) So a guy up in Belfast here in Ireland said that he has two of Serpenco's corns, a gold dust and a butter, Would there be any way of knowing if these truly are serpenco corns? There are pics of them in the photo gallery under 'possible new additions'. Thanks!
    Hello Rich just want to say Happy 4TH of July to ya I hope your day is going good. :)
    Well, I can't really answer that one. I've never had any problems seeing ANY of the corn snakes before... Maybe you should think about posting this in the forums to see what sort of responses you get.

    Yes I have but there are so many different opinions I'm not sure where I should start. Thats why when I found your forum, listing many things to do with corns I thought it wouldnt hurt to ask.
    This is what this site was set up for. Have you reviewed threads on this site about breeding in general to see if they might answer your questions?
    Hi there I noticed that your quite knowledgable of Corn Snakes and was wondering if you have the time to answer a few questions for me;

    Just this past Saturday I had introduced my 3 year old Ghost corn (Female) to her breeding mate a 4 year year old Albino Okeetee (Male). I wasn't expecting them to instantly lock or anything but it is now Tuesday and still I haven't witnessed anything. I did notice a small yellow spot smaller then a dime with a little black dot in it that didn't look like the appropriate size of defecate or urate ( I was told this could be semen).

    A friend of mine has already started breeding and her corns have locked with in the first day so I have been using her as my source of information but since its only my first year breeding and even though I have racked my brain trying to find reliable sources I have now decided to try a new source.

    All in all, I was also told not to leave them together for more then three days as they will stress but as I have been keeping a close eye on them I have noticed rather then mating they seem more comfortable to just wind themselves up together and relax, I know for sure they are male and female, and they have been actively exploring (Like they would when in separate enclosures). I have reduced the amount of destractions in their enclosure and my female has already had her shed approximately 2 weeks ago.

    Could this be caused by something I am doing wrong or could it just be that they are not ready? I am more then open to any suggestions you may have, I hope to hear from you :)
    Beats the heck out of me. I was on vacation for a couple of weeks with very limited internet access. Which suited me just fine, as I WANTED to get away from the internet for a while. So if I got a PM from you, I just don't recall what it said.
    Just so we're clear, and I mean no disrespect, was your lack of response to PM from a couple weeks ago a 'no'? Or have you simply not had the time to read it? If not then I'm sorry for my impatience.
