  • Susan, thank you for your reply to my topic - about re-homing 2 corns. I will need some instructions on how to ship the snakes. I'm going to wait a week, if no local will respond, I'll ship them to you.And since I'm not frequent visitor, I would prefer to know little bit about yourself. (I'm assuming that you're very knowledgeable and respected member of this forum, but more info would not hurt, would it?)

#4 would not eat Saturday, but that was only two days after she arrived. I think I will wait till this Saturday, 9 days post arrival to try again. As this pinkie is frozen, I might try to feed her in her tank by leaving it on a bed of some kind, just not on the aspin. Or, feed her in a seperate tank and hope she eats. We do plan on feeding an a seperate tank as a long term plan.

    Thanks!
I order frozen rodents from RodentPro. They have the best prices for the volume I use/buy. Yes, they aren't vacuum-packed which means they won't last as long without getting freezer burn, but that isn't a concern for me. Many members love the Mouse Factory as they DO vacuum-seal, which may be better for you as you can order a larger quantity of various sizes and have them last longer. And even if you ordered only 100 frozen small pinkies, having to use two or even three per feeding by the time you get to the end of the bag, you'll be saving a great deal of money. I just got a quote for 100 small pinkies (on sale for $0.12 each, plus shipping (which is the biggest part) from RodentPro for a total of $52.15. And if you get one of those home vacuum sealers (I got a Reynolds Handi-Vac for Christmas last year), you can split any order into multiple smaller bags to improve their freezer life.
I have done some reading already, but let me ask; Who do you get your frozen feeders from? I can get pinkies for $9.99 for 5 at pet smart. By the time I pay shipping, aout the same to order. Just want the best for my little girl! (like a proud expectant pappa)
    Hi Susan,
Thanks for the new pictures, they sure made my day! I have a good local supply of live pinkies. Sounds like a Saturday morning routine for a while.
I'm glad to know that the best and brightest are steadfastly watching the halls for any sign of wayward deviance! Crime and Punishment at its zenith!

Your kids are at the "we are redonkulously busy" age aren't they?
Moderator......is that like a Hall Monitor? PFFFT!

I couldn't drop in without saying hello. Course I wasn't aware that you had a big new fancy job. Do I need to address you as Madame Moderator?

Hope all is well in the Sunshine State!
Thank you very much for the comments. At least one person here understood what I was trying to relay. Thanks again
