Awesome. I love browns and brookes, but I have never caught a brookes and I've only caught a brown by "accident". I troll for salmon with my dad during the summer and sometimes we hook up with some nice bows and if we're lucky, a brown. But haven't seen them around much lately....

Hey man. I was (I don't know why) browsing back over some old posts from when I first joined, and on several separate occasions came across just what a nice guy you were. Seriously. I just wanted to tell you that. These were posts before that "hybrid" thread, which was really interesting and really dusted off some mental cobwebs. But, you know the bigger picture, rather than details, is what becomes more important the older one gets (not that I'm old). I just wanted you to know, my friend, thanks for welcoming me into the community back there in Sept & Oct. Sometimes good things that often go unsaid in life, really ought to be said. Eric.
