    Live Plants

What kind of live plants can you have with corn snakes? I went to a zoo today and a boa had Devil's Ivy. I have one of those plants in my house, can I use it in my snake's tank?

    Question for breeders

I was thinking about breeders today and thought "hey...that would be a great idea! They must make a load of money!" Then I started thinking about how much money you have to spend. You have to buy the snake's food, pay for the electricity to warm their tanks, buy the hatchling tubs and racks...

    McBeth

I just wanted to post some pictures of my snake. He is 1 year, 2 weeks today and shed last night. By the way...that cheap little thermometer doesn't work. It always reads 75. I keep it there because McBeth likes to curl around it.

    Motley?

I finally got pictures of my snake. Again, he was sold to me as a motley, but I don't think he is a motley. This is him... And this is his belly. He has seven of these checkers.

    Dumb snake?

So I have this snake...his name is McBeth. I got him when he was an itty bitty little baby, feeding on one pinky (it was so cute that that's all he could eat). One day I fed him and the next day he had a very slight bump. It was hardly noticeable. Next feeding day I got him a fuzzy. He was...

I'm buying a corn snake next month and I don't know what morph to get. Any ideas?

    Is this normal?

My snake is about to shed, probably tonight, and today I saw that where he is coiled his skin is wrinkly. Is this normal? I have never seen this before, but I also leave my snake alone when it is shedding.

    DIE

I don't understand why some snakes are dead in the egg. They are fully developed snakes, so why do they die? I just don't see why they go through all that growing and just die when they were supposed to be born.

    Diffused?

Is a diffused corn snake a normal het bloodred? I never understood what diffused was and someone said it's normal het bloodred.

    Officially an escapee

This morning I woke up around 4 and my snake was in its tank drinking water. I went back to sleep, two hours later I wake up. My snake was gone. I immediately put a towel under my door so my snake can't leave the room while I'm searching for it. I look in my drawers, behind my furniture, under...

    Tiny corn snakes

I have a tiny corn snake. He is seriously tiny. He was eating as much as he should when he was younger, but when I noticed that he was not growing I gave him more than he needs. He is a lot smaller than corn snakes his age, but eats more than them. I'm assuming he is just a little guy, and will...

    aspen bedding

I was at a pet store today and they had a giant bag of aspen shavings that was super cheap. It was the bedding for rodents though. Is there a difference between the aspen for reptiles and aspen for rodents? The worker said he didn't know, but it's probably the same. I didn't want to buy it...

Do corns grow to like their owner?

When I got my corn snake I left him in his tank for about a week before holding him. When I finally went to hold him he didn't want to be held and tried to escape, flailing around violently. About a week more, he finally let me hold him and would just slither in my hands. Eight months have...

    Motley?

I bought a normal Motley corn snake from a breeder, but when I got him I saw he has a checkered belly. The checkers start halfway through his belly, so the first half is pure white and the second half has checkers. He does not have as many checkers as other corn snakes though. He only has seven...
