SPOOK, Ghost Bloodred

marinneli

Just lovin' Cubes!
Here's Spook, ghost bloodred male I bought from Arjan. Spook is dutch and means a ghost, so that's why the name. He is the slowest eater I've ever seen! I was able to take sharp pics even without a flash, and with my cam that means the target mustn't move a muscle...!

Ooooohhhh! I love Spook, he is a great looking snake. I want a Ghost Blood Red so bad, but at least I can admire from afar. Thanks :)!

I'm pretty sure this is the offspring of two hypos het aneryblood from a hypo okeetee x hypobloodred cross (both serpenco line), he bought from Sven Faes in 2006. This ghostbloodred was a big surprise last year :D My female Hypo is from the same clutch as Arjans Hypos and the mother of my anerybloods het hypo charcoal. I really hope the offspring will turn out like Maris SPOOK! :grin01:

FYI, here are his first steps into this world  http://cornsnakes.com/forums/showthread.php?t=68193

Spook is very nice. But I thought that I would ove Ghost Bloods better than Anery Bloods, but I still like anery bloods but your spook is very nice!

Hey, you know more about my Spook than I do! LOL :D
Thank you so much for the link!!! Spook's been a terribly cute baby!

I knew it! I was wondering what had happened to that one.
I guess you'll have even more fun breeding them!

The little fella has travelled quite a long way, hasn't he? :)

Oh yeah, it will most definitely be interesting to see what these two will produce. At least for what I've planned, I'll pair Spook up with his Hypo Blood sister first. Just to see if she's het. Anery or not. I'd expect to get nothing but Hypo Bloods and Ghost Bloods, but we'll see what kind of oddballs I'll get. :D

Oh well...I'll still have more than a year to wait, I guess. I don't think the female will be big enough in 2010. Don't you just hate waiting?! :headbang:

Great looking ghost BR! Spook is such a great name too. Congrats to you!

Thank you very many! :D
I'm so excited about all my new precious little legless family members it feels as if I'm recently fallen in love or something. Mad, isn't it? :crazy01:

LOL. YES, it is. When I'm sitting on the floor cleaning up my snake bins or weighing them all before feeding time, I almost can't think of "happier times". :) (I hope my wife and kids don't take that the wrong way! :) ).

Your family is growing leaps and bounds too!

Hehe... LOL :D

Yeah, our family sure is growing fast, but fortunately all my babies are still legless, covered with scales and none of them call me "Mommy". :roflmao:
(I love children - mostly when they're asleep)

:crazy01:

Spook shed a few days ago, so here are some new pics of him freshly shed! :)
All taken without a flash and in a natural daylight (not direct sunilght), so the colours are as accurate as possible.
