Ya, snakes are the perfect pet for College! I started keeping them my freshman year.
 
Update..finally!!!

March 1, 2009: Weighed in at 96.8g, ate 1 small Hopper later in the evening.

March 8, 2009: 2 days post complete shed. Picture taken outside with natural light. Other snake is Red, her sister from another mister. :D

Thank you! Yeah once she stepped up from pinks and went onto the fuzzies, she just had a big growth spurt. I'm sure its like that with most other snakes as pinks I think are mainly just fatty nutrients in comparison to everything above that. I weigh them on their first feeding of every month to track their growth and I was amazed that she was 96.8g!! I'm starting to get scared she's getting a bit tubby. She doesn't have hips or feel squishy. I'm sure I'm just paranoid but every few feedings, I'll skip one just to get her cruising around the viv more for exercise other than my handling. I feed every sunday. I figure its easier to keep them from getting overweight than it would be to get them back in shape. After all, its not like they can just get up and hit the gym! lol
