well, will be only my second year breeding so here goes

Candycane X candycane = hopefully all candys but not sure of her hets so....

Even with no hidden hets , you can hope on ALL candys because with selective bred morphs , it is not always sure you get a full clutch representing the parents . I had candys myself and they produced candys and not candy amels .

Hehe...as long as my girls are big enough to breed I'd be up for it - have to check with my fiance though. My girls are on the smaller side so I'll be feeding them through the winter instead of brumating I think. I've had some luck not brumating in the past but we'll see. Then again I think that when comparing them to most of my 600g adults that I have just about anything looks small. :shrugs: We'll see.

I've also decided to breed Big Bob (Blizzard Snow?) to two blizzard girls. He was the one bred to a sunglow het anery last year that produced 1 amel and 4 snows so I want to prove him out as homo charcoal and then the next year homo anery as well.

Well like some of the others that posted, I'm not able to breed in 08 unless I buy a new adult.

Thus the outcome will be 100% amel, het striped. A good first breed. I'm just curious to see how many eggs my girl will drop >_<.

Hey Everyone!

Despite the rugged start to my season, I am really looking forward to this year..... <fingers crossed, knock on wood and so forth>

I'm doing some test breeding to prove out Lillith who gave me some killer motleys last year.

Bloodred X Pewter - should give me some nice bloods, she's dark, dark, dark... and he's really pretty.

Snow Motley X Sunkissed - I expect normal w/hets

Lava X Normal het for Amel and Lava - hoping for some nice lavas.

Lava X Bloodred (dark sister to the above) - normal F1's expected - I'm excited for this pairing, even though the outcome won't be for years. She's SO dark and he's SO bright.

Lava X Motley - F1's for my Lava and Ice Motley project

and my most anticipated....

Normal het for Diffusion and Lava X Normal het for Diffusion and Lava - Diffused Lava's if I'm lucky!

I should also have a clutch of Mexican Black Kings,

Everyone is up to speed health wise and weight wise. All are in or slated to go into brumation here shortly. I'm trying to stagger them so I don't have a zillion hatchlings at once. I'm only one person here!

Yesterday I paired my huge '05 creamsicle female up with a creamsicle male of a friend of mine.

And I want to breed with my ghost this year. I want to pair her up with my snopal male, but he still has to grow a bit. She's over 500 gr now ('05) so she's ready I guess

And I'm gonna give birth to a little baby myself in hatchling season
So that will be more than enough for this year

The current plans

This is my 2nd year breeding and I wasn't able to brumate due to a move from Nevada to Oregon. All made the move well, but I didn't get a good brumating area set up yet. We'll see if they're still in the mood.

Here are the plans:

creamsicle x creamsicle (hopefully the boy isn't too intimidated by the big girl)
snow x anery (or the creamsicle--what would I get?)
okeetee x okeetee (hoping to get the male next week)
anery x normal (this pair came up with normals and amels last year)

What would a normal (f) and okeetee (m) give me?

I think this is all that I will have large enough to breed---hopefully I will have many more next year.

Normal het. butter stripeX normal het. butter stripe (Getting these from Zwyatt Feb. 23rd at the latest)
I am hoping to have enough money to pick something else up in feb. at the NARBC show in arlington. I would like to get something striped.
