2 snakes in 1 cage?

I realize it's a living thing and requires all sorts of attention and care; I also know that each one is different, but I won't rush into something that I don't think I'll be able to handle.

Thanks for your advice/opinions, though. I promise i won't just ignore them. :p

I just have a quick question. In your other posts in another thread it seems that you are still new to this. You have asked questions about simple things (housing, heating, handling, etc). Dont you think it would be wise to make sure you are capable of caring for your first snake before you get a second one. Like maybe wait a few months so you can get the hang of things. I am not attacking you this is Just my 2 cents.....?

It's good that s/he is asking questions like these before purchasing or attempting to house two snakes together in the first place.

I have not been on much in the past few days, but as for the basic questions, I know that I read a lot before getting my snakes, but once the snake is actually there in your care, it's different somehow, and even the best of us feel at times unprepared. I know went through a period of self-doubt and needed clarification and validation from other keepers to increase my own self-confidence throughout the first month or so of snake-keeping.

Another thing I would like to point out is how many of us enjoy the first snake so much that we rush out to get the second right away (or very soon after the first)?? Heck, I bet a lot of us left the pet store THAT FIRST DAY with a second snake! These guys are addictive, and truth be told, they are not too difficult to care for. My fish are way higher maintenance than my snake.

I understand the cautionary response, and it was offered in a polite way, but let's not be so hasty to judge when we were all in this persons shoes once!! :) Corn Snakes are like potato chips... you can't have just one!
