The first WIR of August was done by NonVenomous, and included many fun pictures to serve as eye candy. During this time, paper towel rolls were in vogue and egg scenting was all the buzz.

Then it was Tula_Montage's week to enlighten us again. We learned the REAL cost of a corn setup, whether or not kinks are genetic, and a peek at dilute project babies.

Toshiro posted his first WIR next. In it was a thread with all kinds of pictures of yawning snakes, how to build a mini rack, a cobra show in Thailand, and of course, the age old question of what to do with clumped eggs.

Rich_in_KY rocked all kinds of pictures again this month. Shockingly, there were also discussions on how long hatchlings can go between meals, and a thread full of my photos from NRBE Daytona 2008.

September

Tula_Montage helped us kick off September starting with the story of an eyeless corn and a look at what's to come with more cinder combos. It was also, of course, filled with wonderful pictures.

Toyah was, yet again, asking the hard hitting questions on this rotation. Can you really teach a snake tricks, what are the best ways to get nonfeeders going, and of course what's the easiest way to Do It Yourself?

TripleMoonsExotic kept her WIR this go around short, sweet, and to the point, but still chock full of great photos and useful information, such as proper brumation procedures, how to prove out hets, and when a hatchling is officially established.

Maize411 was the next author in the cycle. This week included many very interesting topics such as the possibility of rat snakes being venomous, what type of jobs there are in the herpetology field, and a question that's been on everyones mind at one point or another, can you get insurance on your snakes?

October

Before we knew it, October was here. Tula_Montage pointed us to the tale of a two headed snake, and of course the sad story of just exactly how weird snake keepers are.

Toyah had a lot of interesting threads and photos to sort through this time around. There was a lot to be learned, like ALWAYS make sure to check your mice and proper popping practices. And after the hard hitting stories, we're expected to break out the crystal balls and make predictions on popularity!.

Before Maize411 knew it, it was her turn again! There were some more interesting threads to help fill up the WIR, including a discussion on different light bulbs, flexwatt vs heat cable, and when corns are considered adults.

After a near fatal crash, LBoz graced us with a wonderful WIR. It all started off with tips and tricks on finding escapee's, and then moved right into viv decorating tips.

November

Ah, November. The corns are starting to brumate, and we're having more and more time on the forums to get ourselves into trouble. I mean, heated debates.
Toyah showed that we can even talk about heating, the difference between anery a, b, and c, and viv feeding vs separate bin feeding.

Then it was my turn to step in and do a last minute WIR. A wallpaper was done by Toshiro that showed snakes with diffusion and ZoologyMajor went to the N.A.R.B.C. show in Chantilly, VA.

However, Rich_in_KY's helped to fill in the gaps. Unfortunately, it was his last one. So to make up for his leaving the team, he put in lots and lots and lots of pictures!

Tula_Montage did a wonderful cover of the last week in November. There was another non-feeder thread and even mention of the legendary off topic "Did You Know?" thread, the fastest paced thread on CS.com, gaining over 6,800 posts in a period of less than 5 months. We also got to find out what exactly is on everyone's want list and discovered the wonders of a cornsnake themed jigsaw puzzle!

December

Toyah lead us fearlessly into one of the slowest months on the site, December. Apparently, the only interesting threads were in the "Insiders Club", which is available only to contributing members. But there were more than enough pictures to occupy our time!

TripleMoonsExotic, while organizing the Holiday photo contest, also managed to put together another good WIR. There was the classic debate of dead vs live feeders, what to do when the power goes out, and just how cold is too cold for brumation?

Toshiro posted his first "regular" WIR after moving from alternate, to regular writer. And he did a wonderful job. He noted such topics as the possible overuse of humid hides, how old before you can pop, and of course the holiday fun got the better of us with a thread all about silly snowmen.
