2009 Yahoo - Pro Football Pickem - Contest - Prizes

LOL. Ricky, I'm not #1 anymore... Darcy is!!!

Congrats, Darcy!!!! :D :dancer:

Just don't get comfortable up there! ;)

I'm gonna have to turn around my slow and steady decline over the weeks to regain that spot. I think I can do that! :)

Yeah, I know we've got one more game... but only 1 person picked the Browns to win, so even if the Ravens lose tonight, it won't affect the top 5.

Whoa! Terrible week for me. Haven't looked closely, but I'll probably drop from #1 to 5 or worst. My "gut" for a lot of the games really failed me this week.

I think, overall, it hit ALL of us... even the best of us this week (Darcy) missed 3 games. I dropped 5...

Of course that doesn't include tonight. It really WOULDN'T surprise me to see Cleveland win... with the way the week has gone. LOL.

Wow... Ravens vs. Browns... got to be the most BORING game I've ever seen... Glad that it didn't really make a difference in our standings (well, to one person... sorry). I don't think I'll even TRY to watch a Browns game the rest of the year. No offense to any Browns fans...

Well I guess I have to pass you to get to Darcy then!. I'm praying I can keep on the train of rational thought I'm riding now, but next might definitely throw me off..Back to the drawing board folks, and best of luck this week.....BTW, Congrats Darcy!!. This season has been a total grind so to be #1 for any amount of time is very tough..Kudos to you :)!.

I think most Browns fans would appreciate not watching their team play..It's like when people are sick, they don't want to be seen in public. Same thing with the Browns; their a bit self-conscious at the moment.

I know, honestly, Browns fans deserve a refund. When you have to go to three games just to see a touch down... well, someone needs to start owning up. The defense played fairly well tonight too, so even a mediocre offensive performance could have made it an interesting game. Definitely not worthy of the Monday Night Football pre-game hype.
I like Sunday Night Football better anyways. Al Michaels is an excellent commentator, and Chris Collinsworth is good too. Plus, last nights Pats/Colts really kicked some football arse.

REMINDER - There's another Thursday night game... so your picks will need to be in before that game.

There were some great games this week. LOVED the Colts game (but I'm biased). Hated the fact that the Broncos and Cowboys didn't do well at all. Oh, well. At least they're still in it (at least mathematically). Anyway, GOOD LUCK this week!!!

Well let's see some predictions here..... I pose this question..... Which teams will be in the Super Bowl??? Indy??? New Orleans??? With some teams not playing up to their potentials of late I am just wondering what people think!

*trots out her Bengals*

*giggles*

Mayhap them?

Here's hoping, right? :)

We have a tough road, what with the Pats and the Colts, but hey, they're MY horse, and I'll ride them to the END!!!

Vikings would be my vote... although New Orleans... well... *needs more games!*

Bengals/Vikings. That's my poorly thought out early-morning vote :)

LOL. I'm not sure about the Steelers... They're tough, but what about the Colts? Score on them and they'll score back and with Peyton leading? Just ask the Pats. LOL.

Hopefully, the Bengals will have exposed the Steeler's weaknesses and everyone else will capitalize on them.

I think it'll be a Colts/Saints SuperBowl... Well, hopefully.

I think the colts have a shot, not sure about the Saints. They've struggled the past few weeks. I think teams are finally starting to figure out how to stop them.

I also think the Bengals have a legit shot. They've swept the Ravens and Steelers.

Not sure who else from the NFC I might wager on. Probably the Vikings. I also think that the Eagles or Cowboys could make a run if they can stay healthy and be able to fire on all cylinders come December/January.
