2014 corn breeding at Elemental Exotics.

Darn, looks like two, maybe three of the formerly good eggs have or are going bad. Today is only day 25 of incubation.

Yes, two are definitely gone and two others are looking iffy. Hopefully the other two pull through.

Well, mostly happy to report that of the two "iffy" looking eggs, one has definitely gone bad but the other had been looking a bit better. And today when I looked at them, I actually had a hard time telling which egg I had been worried about, as it now looks just as healthy as the neighboring eggs! So still have 23 good looking eggs.

Today is day 60 and one (only one, darn it!) egg just started denting in and looks like it might hatch sometime this century.

Bet you're going crazy lol I'm only on day 49 for the first clutch and already going crazy lol. Well *fingers crossed* yours will be pipping tomorrow :)

Oh yeah! I'm going to be plucked bald from pulling my hair out with impatience by the time my two clutches of eggs actually hatch!

Yeah, I just noticed a minute ago that there was actually a pretty decent shot of an egg tooth. Now I am just trying to control myself into not molesting them too much!

It's so exciting. I envy you for your beautiful eggs. I won't have any until next year. These babies are going to be soooo cute! Can't wait to see more pictures/

Now at five pips and one completely out.

First baby, SxV61114-1 or likely to just be called #1. Came in at 7 grams, wonderful temperament so far. And first gender check looked female. (I candled her briefly, before getting her squared away) Will check gender a few more times after she starts eating though, before officially labeling #1 a girl.
