7 Years old or not, this is sick.

Also this must have happened at night, and I can't think of any normal parents that would let their 7yr old child roam free, especially at night.

According to the article LBOZ posted it began at a little after 8AM. Makes you wonder why he wasn't at home getting ready for school. Or at school already.

I can't decide if that kid needs help, or to straight up be culled for the sake of society.

Either way, his parents need to beaten and sterilized.

hum, I had a rather strong reaction to this story. What's WRONG with people?!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the abuse of animals at a young age is one of the biggest indicators of serial killers as adults?!

Disgusting story.

Yes they sure do. I am a stickler for Court TV and other crime networks and a lot of serial killers tortured and killed animals when they were young. And I am seriously afraid to see what he does when he gets older and stronger.
Prime example are Jeffery Dahmer and Ted Bundy.

However, I must saw that the parents may not be to blame. Sometimes (and I do mean sometimes) it's not the parents or the kids home life that make them a psych case. Sometimes it seems they are just born all messed up. BUT I do believe the parents should be able to see that their kid needs help, and it's those parents who don't take immediate action, who should be held responsible.

Well, spanking rules are a little more "relaxed" in Brazil (where I grew up) and coincidentally, cases of serial killers are RARE... ;)

Pity the croc didn't get him...

And that is the main point. The croc could have gotten him. What would the parents have done then? Sue the Zoo? The Zoo would have been at fault but still, its the parents responsibility to keep an eye on their child be it mentally challenged or not.

That's just it... if the croc would have gotten him (even if there was still evidence that the kid did everything that he did), then it would be "poor kid, poor family, BAD ZOO" and it would just perpetuate all the BS that reptiles have to deal with anyway. The zoo would be sued, and it would be a bigger problem for the innocent

I just saw this on Drudge. What's really scary to me is that this child's older brother got in trouble a few years ago for abusing that same croc. It's like a whole family of future serial killers. The article says that the family is well-known in the area. I bet they are.

I think if you have reached a point where your mental illness tells you it is okay to hurt people, there is NO use for you in society and you should be killed, or at least locked away for all eternity.

If your mental illness says it is okay to hurt and kill anything alive... well, I think that is stepping stone number one. I am not inclined to wait around for you to graduate to killing humans.

I've never seen a list like that before. It makes me physically sick. We can only hope these kids are getting help, but, as the list shows, some of the cruelty was by the hands of parents or grandparents, like the child whose grandmother forced him to torture animals. How freakin' sick is that??

On the other hand, as quick as I am sometimes to blame upbringing, it really does fascinate me how some of these people have some kind of obvious wiring problem in their brains. Maybe we should take these animal abusers and make brain removal/study mandatory in the interest of science.

Wow. Really the only thing I have to say about that list and the article.

I think certain people are sick. It really does make me feel depressed to know those people live near me, and are just out there still doing those things.

It is always the fault of the parents, or the media or I guess it could be from peers as well. I mean, if the kid was raised right in a good environment, I reckon he wouldn't go out on a killing spree.
