A Day of Firsts!!

So after setting up my tank this past weekend, I finally determined, based on my snakes behaviour, that it was his first holding + first feeding time! All I can say is wow! My snake is suuuuper friendly and gentle and had absolutely no problems with me holding him. I even showed my landlords (they were asking about him) and he was really friendly with them too!
And what's even more, I fed him his first pinky with me and he ate like a champ! After owning a leopard gecko and seeing how they eat (which is pretty cool I must say), snakes eat totally differently! I took a video and I plan on uploading it to YouTube later as part of my corn snake's firsts.
Finally, to top it all off, when he was back in his viv after feeding, he started burrowing for the first time! It was awesome :D
Now to just watch him over the next few days, then handling time on Sunday :) I'm sooo happy I bought a corn snake :cool:
 
Haha okay so I promise to get better pictures when I use my DSLR, but for now, all recent shots can be found on my flickr (I couldn't get the in-text images to work with flickr) at My Flickr Page.
 
No Eatmice, there isn't. But I think TheFrogman went to my flickr page and looked at the few pictures I had posted. I'll sort out this whole "no flickr image appearing" later this weekend.
 
Ok XD lol I was confused at first, I'm in my college class on my phone and it has been known to not show pics lol I was just making sure. Lol

Clicked "grab the HTML/BBCode"
Clicked BBCode
Copied the code in the box and pasted it in the reply box on this forum

Wow he looks happy, I don't know if you mind can you post a pic of his whole tank. I just like to see the creativety :D
 
Thanks! I went with the recommended 2 hides (cool hide has the water bowl attached), 2 climbing objects, aspen bedding and some decorative vines I had from my late leo gecko. I can't wait to bring him out to play this Sunday or Monday (want to make sure he has a good first digestion) :D
