A little ray of Asian sunshine!

What strange, beautiful little snakes! I'd never heard of them either. They don't look boid-y to me at all. Maybe in a sand boa sort of way. How cool!

my pseudo loxocemus

these are making up for my failed life long search for loxocemus, neat to keep, timid but good eaters, only problem i have so far is fungus because of the insane humidity but i think i can fix that.

Thanks guys, these are such funky wee snakies!

They weren't expensive (IMO) I would have paid 3 times more than what we did. CB xeno babies are pricelesss.

Awesome, awesome, awesome. Never seen anything like that before. Congratulations, and let us know a thing or two about them every now and then ;)

Wow, I think these are gorgeous, from the day I saw some pics a couple of months ago! Great that you have a couple, maybe I'll be on your offspring list someday!

What an amazing critter - simply beautiful... Congrats on getting the pair. I hope they do well for you!

Well, the male was bought as a non feeder, we just wanted a pair asap LOL

But he took his meal the night he arrived! They are on 4 pinks EACH a week, these guys are the fasted eaters on the flanet!

mmm...just out of curiosity you have not got a pair,
you have brother and sister.
If I was in your position with these lovely snakes I would buy a W/C and breed it to either one of them.

if you do breed them you will end up with kinks and other effects- wont you

Joel

They are related yes. And I do not intend to buy WC in any way shape or form when I have CB. It's just not worth the risk to the rest of my collection.

How many corn snakes do you think are bred to each other per year that are directly related? Thousands, and to my knowledge the majority have no ill effects. Kinks and deformities can occur for many reasons, not soley because snakes are related.

These guys are super hard to breed anyways. I doubt we will even think about it for a good 3 years... even then who knows what will happen, nobody really knows what makes them tick. Somtimes it just happens.

Hey Janine, I found their hatchling pictures! Thought you might like these.
