Aberrant Wide-striped Hypo

Sherrod Serpents

New member
This little girl hatched July 30th. Her parents were a motley het. anery, hypo, and lavender, and a snow het. hypo. The dad (snow) has some what of an aberrant pattern, so I occasionally get bits of zig zags or other interesting patterns, but never anything like this! The first pictures are of her and her brothers and sisters, and just her, right after hatching. The others are pictures I took from last night, after she and the others had shed for their first time and she had her first meal. I was worried that she would be one that wouldn't want to eat since she is so unique, but she was the first to eat out of the clutch! :)

Aww, thanks!! :) Hmm, maybe I should add something to the title so people have a better idea of what she is other than my affectionate term of "oddling" for her!

You should be able to edit if you go to the first post, and then within the post, edit, go advanced. I think. If that doesn't work, tell me what you want it to say.

Wow! VERY pretty snakeling! I guess that's one of the advantages of breeding your own snakes--you get to choose which one(s) you keep. I'd definitely be keeping that one, too!

I was going to try not to hold many back this year because I've been very busy with my now 9 month old and another on the way (not to mention all the critters and a full time job!), but I couldn't resist keeping this one! :)

Man if you were letting that one go...it may have started a feud in the reptile world!!!:shrugs:
