All Az. residents and visitors are invited...

Darn! I was hoping to hear from at least a couple of Phoenix area members who might like to come tomorrow night. Sure would be nice to get to know some of you better! There is still time to plan to come tomorrow, though (Tues). Hope to see you there!

I'm sorry Kathy. I promised my daughter I'd take her car shopping tomorrow eve. Are you going to the Phoenix Repticon in two weeks?

Guess I will probably see more members at Repticon than the meeting tonight, lol! But that works, too.

Maybe it is time for a vacation in the US, Oren! Spring is a great time to visit! And we do have a guest room...

I am just now seeing this thread Kathy! I will have to come by. I don't believe I have any plans tonight.

Christen, you should see if Anne wants to go! That would be awesome if she could meet Kathy and Bill.

That does sound great...
Now only to cover the 1000+ $ plane ticket.
Le Sigh...

But I will have to visit at some point.

That would be great!

I would love to see both of you there tonight!

This is the last time we will meet at Bass Pro Shops. After this, it will be in a church in central Phoenix.

We meet in the meeting room on the 2nd floor (at Bass Pro). You can see a red / orange awning over an inside window on the 2nd floor. That's where we are. The person at the door can direct you if needed.

See you tonight around 7!

Just checked my work schedule, looks like I am off on the days the Phoenix Repticon will be here, so I'll definitely be going to that!

The meeting was great! We had about 30 people attend and all seemed to have a good time. Our next meeting will be in a new location, but still on the 4th Tues of the month. So check out the website and mark your calender for March.

Hopefully I will get to see some of you at the Repticon show in a couple of weeks, so stop by and say "hi"!

Is the Repticon show worth going to? I"ve heard there aren't to many vendors an its kind of small. Plus have to pay to park?

Since it is only their second show in Phoenix, I wouldn't expect it to be really big yet. It takes several shows to see some real growth. But if you need supplies or animals, I am sure prices will be really good compared to what you would pay at a retail store. And it is always fun to meet up with herper friends you don't get to see every day.

Is the Repticon show worth going to?
I don't know how this question would be POSSIBLE to answer! If a show has 3 tables, but had exactly what I wanted to leave with, it was a show worth going to! Now whether I'd consider certain shows worth vending, then that would be a different discussion! For me, if Bill was giving a presentation and I could say hello to him and Kathy for the first time in years, that would make it worth going to for me.

The last Phoenix Repticon was on the smaller side, but still well worth going, for me anyway. The AZ Herp society had a huge exhibit with many amazing hots from around the world. Kathy and Bill were there giving presentations and taking pictures. And there were just enough vendors to keep me busy for about two hours. My only real disappointment was that there was only one (that I recall) vendor with cages and those types of supplies. Anyway, that's just my perspective. It's a nice way to spend a few hours with my sons. :)
