Anery, Charcoal, etc., DARK female hatchling!

Maya's Mama
I'm not great with morphs yet, hence the weird title.

Charcoals originally caught my eye and they are what I think I am still looking for, but anery corns are looking good as well! Basically, I'd like as dark of a corn as I can get. I know that it's difficult to tell as hatchlings, but perhaps someone has dark parents to use as a guideline as how dark the babies will grow up to be. I may also take a liking to any non-red morphs.

My intro thread is here if you would like to know more about me: http://www.cornsnakes.com/forums/showthread.php?t=129652

I am still working on my vivarium, so it would be ideal to find someone with babies that are just now hatching or will be hatching soon. I am going to want a female hatchling that has had a few successful F/T meals and would seem to have a personality fitting for a beginner, if at all possible. I understand that personalities in hatchlings are more or less nonexistent, but it never hurts to ask!

If you think that you may have what I am looking for in the coming weeks, please let me know!

Thank you!

You might look at pewters too, they're kinda cool. Most of these are pretty inexpensive, so you might want to get it locally to save on shipping, unless you're looking for more than one of course. I can get pewters for you, but they're yearlings unless you can wait about 3 months.

I found a great local-ish breeder that is expecting some anery babies, but they won't be ready for another 4 months. I'm not sure I can wait that long!

The extra money for shipping is definitely worth it if it means I can buy from someone reputable in the community.

This is really just a feeler, more or less! I would like to see who all is out there with what I'm after.

My near-black pewter, Lacy, should be laying her clutch in about 2 weeks.

She was bred to a charcoal who is fairly average, but quite uniform in color with both ground and saddle color being almost the same.

Gorgeous snakes! What are you expecting the babies to look like? Will they be dark like their mama?

If I understand correctly, the incubation period is around 60 days? And then perhaps a month until they are established feeders and ready to go?

Her clutch last year was a range, and I didn't keep any long enough to really see how they develop. I am planning on keeping back *a* female from this clutch, but my main interest is males.
