I know he's an Anery, but I don't know if he's A or B (Charcoal). I saw a breeder with a snake that looked _so much_ like Andy, and said it was Charcoal. His amount of yellow makes me think Anery A, but he doesn't look any other one I've ever seen. I guess he's just special :D

Sorry for the links, but they showed up really big...So I actually did it to help you :)

What color are his eyes? Eye color is the best way I know of to tell anery A from Charcoal. I think he's anery A.

Those first pictures show pretty well that he does not appear to have any actual *black* on him. Just dark dark browns, which is one of the hallmarks for hypo A. And he looks far more like a ghost than a charcoal.

Actually, the first thing that came to mind is Upper Keys anery A to me. The black that can be seen in the head shot of the last photo you linked to (in response to the eye color query) seems pretty black and not exactly what I would expect a ghost to show, but it isn't out ot the possibilities. I only have young Upper Keys anerys to go by, but perhaps someone else can post a photo of an adult for comparison.

What's wrong with his mouth? That last head shot shows some redness on the lower portion of his mouth. Even the first head shot makes his mouth looks like its not closing right. You might want to have him looked at by a vet.

Susan - those baby pictures look just like him, but I looked up some adult Upper Keys Anery pictures and they are very pale and washed out...there's not nearly the difference in colors that Andy has, unless the adult pictures I'm seeing aren't necessarily true...

dionythicus - I have, the head shots are from a while ago. He had had a scab on his mouth that the vet removed and his mouth has never closed quite right. The vet said it was fine cause it didn't cause him a problem and it's not caused by any mouth rot or anything, it's just different...

Andy's pretty sweet looking!

My first instinct (before I read any comments) was Ghost as well. Hope that helps. Do you have any possible females to test him out to?

Thanks Jessicat!

I'm going to breed him next year, but I wanted to get an idea of what he was so I could kind of plan the babies...
