Hello all!

I rescued my two corn snakes three years ago and have no clue what type they are. Could anyone please give me idea? I would greatly appreciate it!

Thanks! The first three are of Sparky (my male) the last two are of sylvester (my female)

--- named them before I knew their sex----

Thanks! That is what I was thinking.... Sylvester is massive and laid 18 eggs this year. I had 12 hatch and have pretty babies!! Wish I knew what they were Het for.... Half the babies look just like them.... the other half are greyish....

When I rescued them, they were both malnurished and were not taken care of properly....
which is why I happily took them.....

"Greyish" might mean that they were both het for anery and you have aneries or they could be het for anery and hypo and you got ghosts - if you post some pictures of your babies the people on this forum will be more than happy to help you identify them. Congrats on your babies..

It appears from the photographs that there is orange coloration behind the head and neck area - more than likely a normal - they can have different degrees of grey coloration as well. Aneries dont tend to have any orange coloration. Very pretty babies..

ahhh.... I am still learning about the different types of corns..... so normals can be different colors? Thank you all so much!

Call it a hunch, but could you post the babies that look just like mom and dad?

If they hatched out looking a lot lighter they MIGHT actually be Hypos, Normals usually hatch out looking like the 2 babies you posted and as they grow, the classic colors develop more and more.
