I just change the beddings from woodchip to reptisand.I notice that my snake is always covered with some sand on it and don't look comfortable. Will the reptisand affect my snake? Are reptisand mend for snakes?

badness

It can cause impaction in your snake (deadly), it can cause breathing problems, and it can get inbetween their scales and be very uncomftorable.

I say aspen mulch is the best.

I agree. Just stick with aspen. It's the only substrate I've used and its never caused any problems. Plus it's easy to clean

NO, definetly do not use reptisand. it can cause many health problems. as the above stated. Use either spen, paper towell, newspaper, or carefresh.

I'll just add my agreement with the above statements.

These snakes are not desert snakes and sand makes for a very unpleasant environment for them.

There are plenty of other suitable alternatives. I use aspen for adults and paper towel for youger ones.
