Baby Pewter

Gorgeous Pewter I've got some amazing pewter projects lined up in the works and I can't wait. They're color is just gorgeous!

We need some post shed pictures! He sure is pretty.

Ask and ye shall receive!

His color did not change much this shed. And unfortunately, he doesn't look quite this silvery in real life, but he still is pretty. I'm also just so happy about his personality. He used to be the real bugger of the bunch and would always strike at me when I went to get him out and now he's just fine and is very calm!

I was cleaning out Sterling's enclosure today and he was posing so nicely for me!

Look at how long his tongue is!

And then he got angry!

Most of the time he's pretty good, but sometimes he can get cranky when I'm taking him out of his tank.

Sterling is officially my bipolar snake. I never know how he will react when I want to handle him. He had refused food for two weeks in a row and then he finally went blue. But before he was actually blue, I went to take him out and he was calm and then out of nowhere, he did a little huffy closed-mouth strike at me. And then he promptly fled to his water bowl and swam around in it completely underwater.

Here are some post shed pictures (for which he was very calm and sweet):

Sterling has been on and off food since the beginning of March now. He'll usually eat if I offer him a fuzzy, which is smaller than what he needs. He didn't feel like eating today, so I took him out for some pictures.

Poor Sterling is in blue. Now that breeding season is over, he's eating well and is much nicer to handle, even when in blue.
