bathing the corn?

Erm... It sounds from the first post that you just want to see the snake 'swim'? Or have I misunderstood?

It's been mentioned, but there's really no need to give your snake a bath unless shedding is unsuccessful, and then paper towels seem the best method of removing leftover skin. A large water bowl that they can climb in and out of at will is much better than sticking them in the bathtub, in my opinion.

:)

not so much to watch them swim but if its somethig they enjoy doing i nthe wild then why not let them. i htink once i get a bigger tank im gonna put a shallow but large tupperwear type container in and see if he naturally goes to it

I would like to be able to do that when Freya is shedding but I don't know if the water will be the right temperature and I do not want to Right harming her.
Does anyone know exactly what the temperature should be?
Should it just be so that you don't find it hot nor cold?

We have temp varients in our vivs so the snake can decide whether to go in the hot or cold bit. If you put them in the tub then no matter how it feels to us the snake still can't thermo regulate. Go with the large bowl in the viv, I mean you could put a really big one in if you like! As long as it has a way to get in and out, it'll be grand.
