Belly checkers

This is my little noodle of a hatchling, Pretzel. She's a nice little anery and normal looking in every way but I think she has an exceptionally heavily marked belly. Perhaps she's just normal looking to you and it's my imagination...but this looks like a heavily marked ventrum to me. What do you all think??

PS, sorry it's a cruddy photo...best I could do with my old camera!!

Yeah, it looks a little unusual to me, I kinda like it, reminds me of racing flags.
Did you produce this snake or did you purchase it? It would be interesting to know the genetics of the parents.

That looks similar to the checkering on the belly of my ghost female... it baffled me too! Her checkering is more grey of course, but still just as evident.

Let me know what you find out!

looks normal for an anery to me, or at least that's how mine looks plus he has a lot of speckling along the side too.

She and her 2 remaining clutchmates (who were both normals) were being sold on a table at a show for a price that I'd consider a steal for a normal...so of course I picked up the anery. When I popped her and saw the little femoral pores only, that was a bonus! I think I may have an idea of who the seller was, only because of an ad placed on the local herp site about things they'd have available at the show which then lined up well with what was on this guy's table (he was a lizardy kinda guy)...but I'm not 100% on that it was him. I was so thrilled to pick up my little bargain I forgot to ask for his e-mail address! :dunce:
