body piercings anyone?

Hey everyone I was wondering if anyone else here has anybody piercings? Me and my girlfriend both just had our lips pierced last week. If so does anyone know the best method of preventing infection. I was told bactine but I think mabe peroxide would work better. Anyone?

Peroxide will dry it out too fast, and there is another reason not to use it that I can't remember now, (been a long time since my last piercing). :grin01: Bactine is the best...

ive had my eyebrow pierced 5 times and both earths fully pierced 2 times, all out atm but the way i got rid and prevented getting infections was sea solt, its easy to bye from the shop or ask a body piercing shop for some.

Until I started using saline solution - the type that's used for rinsing contact lenses - to clean my most recent ear piercing, it didn't heal clean.

I have a body mod and one piercing

One 8mm Fleshtunnel on my left ear. (Note: I had this done before it was "fashionable")
And a 2.5mm ring on my right ear.
On the 2nd of Jan, I am hopefully getting surface piercings done on the back of my neck, or an Industrial.

yea my dad does tunnles, he did my little brother and himself one, he has a 15mm i think or 14 tunnle my brother has a 6 or a 8 but the school said i wasent allowed to get one whats ur body mod?

I pierced my left ear twice, and my right ear once. I did them myself though, didn't have the money to go get a gun or anything.

Also, earlier today, I managed to pierce my pointer finger on my left hand with a nailgun while building a vivarium. Pure brilliance on my part.

H2Ocean Purified Saltwater works good.
When I got my tongue pierced, I just brushed my teeth a thousand times a day and used mouthwash without alcohol in it. For my navel, I used the H2Ocean.

I have a few piercings, ears (4 guage rings) tongue (10g ring in tip) Nipples (10g rings) and one 10g below the belt. But I prefer to try out all of the new piercings on my nephew "Spike" :grin01: :sidestep:

Sea salt is the absolute best to clean with. Ive had eyebrows, lips, ears, and so on pierced, currently I have a few cartiledge, a nostril, and my septum, I'll soon be adding another nostril and more in my ears. I love how surface piercings look, but I hate how senstive they are especially for how expensive they can be to have done. I'd have more, but unfortunatley work restricts it a little.


But sometimes its fun just to play....

A piercing like that would be torn out in a day or two, or if your lucky it may take a little longer before it starts rejecting, leaving you with a nice scar.

25 piercings at age 13? That's hard to believe.
My mom wouldn't even let me get a piercing till I was 16. And that was just my navel.

10 on both ears and 4 or 5 on my right eyebrow, right i think, i cant remember its been a year, yea i think it was my right because they said that was the girls side and when they normally say that i just agree but yea 25 my mums lets me be my own person, she does disaplin me, but i dont go out and do drugs or smoke or drink alcohol like the kids in my town so she lets me off with little things like owning a snake and getting piercings lol

I have a tongue piercing, that's about it as far as piercings go, my ears "had" 4 but I think they are closed up as I have not put anything in them for YEARS.

I'm more of a tattoo girl myself.
