Breeding at 18 mo?

When you say very heavy, though, personally I keep my females quite lean, so they are toned and fit rather than big and squishy. I'd rather have smaller clutches than risk a fat corn to egg-binding
:) It's difficult for me to keep my breeding females heavy enough. Many won't eat for long periods while gravid, then many double clutch. Even with all the food they can eat this time of the year they can still be thin. By the time I put the weight back on them it's time to go into bru. Breeding takes a lot out of them..I like to make sure before they lay that they have good mass.
