Breeding mice

i have read all apart from the previous 2 posts (too many words lol)..
having kept and breed mice for about 5 years in total, i can honestly say, the only time i get mice eat each other, is when there isnt enough food.. if i miss a day, they eat each other.
i never take out any babies until either i want them as pinks until they are weaned, all females and the male stays in.
I have recently started a new thing.. i have a couple of boxes made up urely to produce a lot of pinkies ready for this years baby corns. basically i have 1.10 in a box, he seems to mate with each one the next day, so i pretty much get 10 litters one after another, there will be a 10-12 day gao before the 1st one goes again.. this way i take them the day thye are born, and they sure do pump out a lot per box.

Cornmorphs, Like you I also leave the male in with all the females and I just started a 1:6 and a 1:7 for the production of pinkies. I am thinking great minds think a like. But after reading your post I might up mine to 1:10. This is the first year I have breed my snakes. Also the first year I have had to breed mice for the possibility of baby snakes.

Geniandkathy; the way you breed your mice is up to you. I breed mine for my needs and it works real well for me. I am sure your way works well for your needs.
