breeding problems need help

To the OP how are your snakes doing any progress, did you seperate them?
Good point Susan! Apologies for the comprehensive thread hijack.

What's the latest, Ben?

yea i separated them as soon as yall told me to and her lay box is sitting at a constant 83 degrees but nothing yet and her nor the male want anything to do with food its starting to worry me seeing they both haven't showed interest in over a month

The male might not eat until his urge to mate passes, its fine and perfectly normal. Also some females stop eating once gravid so it may be normal as well to be safe though I would have a good vet do a fecal exam to check for parasites.

Well I have had the most amazing and stressfull day I come home and get my 4 new snakes (creamsicle, lavender, and a male and female pair of high white reverse okeetees and I check on my girl to find a huge clutch of eggs so she was prego after all

Are you incubating the eggs? Have you tried to feed her yet? Hope she is ok! Oh and can you see how many there are or are they in a clump?

Don't worry about that. They always object to being disturbed after laying and will try to shove your hand out of the way when you reach for the eggs. Just be gentle and persistent.

You wouldn't want to be touched either if you had all of those things come out of you... I can only imagine how women feel when they give birth... Luckily I am a guy, and only have to go through the broken fingers....lol
