Breeding Season has begun in the Land of Enchantment

I candled some eggs last night. I found this nifty pen light in the parking lot of the doctors LOL

One glows yellow but with a weird black spot. I don't think it is fertile but it still looks good so I left it in there.

Congrats! I still think the yellow one is good. I have seen some like that and after a week they have good veins like the others. Nice candling pics.

I wish they would. I have about 30 more days. Only lost one egg. No mold or bugs. The rescue clutch last year was moldy and had those stupid little bugs.

They are getting harder to candle!

OMGoodness, the waiting game sucks big time!!!!! I want pippies! LOL

I climbed the walls waiting for my first ever clutch of gtp eggs 7 years ago. However, I think the 1 season that ever had me impatient and going nuts was 2002. In 2001 I purchased a pair of 100% het Rainwater albino leopard geckos through a broker, which then had Tim Rainwater ship them out. After that purchase all I heard about was how people were getting ripped off on these hets. I later purchased a straight up Rainwater albino male from Kevin Hanley. I never proved out my het male as I sold him, but I did prove out the female het. It took 8 clutches and the LAST egg to pop out an albino from an albino X 100% het. 15 normal babies and 1 albino, from a pairing, that in theory should have been 50/50 ratio.

Side note, have you seen the lava corn over at the Menaul Clark's? ANNNND, the large chain store I work for got a nice looking caramel motley in last Friday. Supposedly ate that same receive day too. If I didn't have to shell out $100 for a tux rental this weekend.... :sobstory:

We got some beautiful blood reds from him and half the clutch was pied. Cant wait to see what hatches..

Eggs are doing good. Shouldn't be too long now! I am getting really excited. I have only lost 2 eggs. The one at the beginning and then the one the glowed yellow.

I have no doubt these babies are going to be beautiful. I had a dream banshee had a hidden het and we got pied sided granites!

Yay eggies!!!!
I love this time of year, it's like Christmas.
Until you get to the point where I am right now; too many snakes! lol

Pips er bubbles :D I did my morning check and found bubbles. I had to make sure it was a good sign LOL such a noob!
