I wonder if Mike cares that three people are fighting over a snake that he probably has no intention of parting with. :grin01:

Oh well...coveting is the highest form of flattery. Or something like that...

Yes, thank you all very much, it is quite flattering :)

The two babies I posted in this thread are a male and a (as of yet, non-feeding) female and are my personal holdbacks. Earlier this week, I had agreed to let them go, but the buyer changed her mind...they may be mine forever now :dancer:

Actually, I have 2 clutches I'm going through and another 20+ egg clutch incubating. I just paid my fee to become a contributing member again and will post some in the classifieds later today. (I don't want to get accused of using the photo forum to drum up business )

haha, okay, okay fair enough.

He's an amazing snake, there's just this little teeny-weeny problem. He's not gonna be sold. :(

Then again, who says we need to buy him...
Everything has a price
Now all you gotta do is negotiate the common ground to make it acceptable to the both of you.

Sadly I can't actually get this snake despite all that. :grin01:

I'm allowed one more snake (not including keepers from clutches) and so I want to make it one that fits my breediong plans, and sadly this one doesn't.

Thats a real pity ,but hey, only you know your way forward.
As far as only "being allowed one more snake". may i make a suggestion.
my son is snakewispera , I came on the forms to keep an eye on him (Young son on computer talking to god knows who). Then I Got caught up an his #only one snake #became a family concern. granted he had an ally( I already had snakes, until I got married, an my wife said noway) but involving my wife and getting her into it things developed. slow at first , but it gathered speed. my suggestion is for all of you living at home, to get your folks into herpetology. then you can help them choose a snake/lizard they really can't live without. LIL

My parents love to have the animals, they love the animals, the problem is they feel these are my animals, not theirs (and they're right!!). They don't want to have to take care of them (they don't mind, but with too many they can't deal with it) when I'm away, like when I go to Maine in the summer to visit my dad. My mom wants tortoises, but doesn't feel like she can't take care of another pet, and my step dad is indifferent to the whole thing, although he originally was terrified of snakes and after we got my first snake, a ball python, he's come to enjoy them. He likes them, but has no need for more (or less, for that matter).

I guess your right, I need to get them both to love the snakes or other herps so much it's completely a family thing, but I don't think it's going to go any farther than it has.

Maybe I should just get a few totoises and then get my mom totally hooked. I wonder if I could pull that off...

So we've completely gotten :-offtopic We were discussing that awesome snake. I'm impressed with the topic changing! :)
